Paraplanner – Wealth Management (London)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive wealth management business as an experienced Paraplanner. You will support a team of three High Net Worth Advisers, delivering research, report writing and client documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high-quality, accurate suitability reports.
• Carry out detailed research into funds, products and solutions.
• Prepare illustrations, quotations, valuations and client documentation for planners.
• Analyse complex financial scenarios and provide expert input.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records.
• Stay informed of legislative and regulatory changes and reflect them in advice and reporting.
• Collaborate with planners and administrators to ensure a consistently high standard of service.
• Respond promptly to queries from clients and colleagues.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or financial planning environment.
• Diploma-level qualification (or actively working towards one).
• Strong technical knowledge of retirement planning, tax, investments and estate planning.
• Excellent report-writing skills covering a wide range of suitability reports.
• Confidence using research and back-office systems.
• High attention to detail with a structured, organised approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
