Parcel Delivery Driver – Fixed‑Term (12 months)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Collections and Network Driver on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract in Truro. You will be part of a team that delivers letters and parcels while providing a friendly, reliable service to the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Drive to collect and deliver mail and parcels across the assigned area.
• Check post‑boxes and visit post offices as required.
• Meet business customers at pre‑arranged times to collect outgoing mail.
• Drop collected items at processing centres and ensure proper sorting of mailbags.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to safety and traffic regulations.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Enjoy interacting with people and have a strong sense of community.
• Willing to walk for long periods and work outdoors in any weather.
• Looking for flexible shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
