Parcel Delivery Driver – Fixed‑Term (6 months)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Parcel Delivery Driver to join our Beckenham team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will be responsible for delivering parcels across the local area during afternoon and early evening shifts, ensuring a high standard of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Load and prepare the delivery van each morning according to the planned route.
• Deliver parcels to customers between 12 pm and 8 pm, including weekends as required.
• Use route‑planning technology to optimise stops and ensure timely deliveries.
• Interact with customers in a friendly manner, representing Royal Mail positively.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues.

Required profile

• Upbeat, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Organised, punctual and proactive.
• Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• Comfortable communicating with customers and acting as a brand ambassador.
• Willing to work afternoons, evenings and occasional weekends.
• Enjoy a multi‑drop driving role across the assigned area.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
