Parcel Delivery Driver – Part‑time (10‑month contract)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Parcel Delivery Driver in Exeter on a 10‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work evenings and weekends, delivering parcels to customers across a designated area while representing the brand with a friendly, professional attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver parcels to customers on a multi‑drop route using company‑provided route‑planning technology.
• Prepare the van and workload each day, ensuring parcels are sorted correctly.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and confirm successful deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service and act as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail.
• Adhere to scheduled working hours (approximately 27.5 hours per week, evenings and weekends).

Required profile

• Upbeat, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Organised, punctual and proactive.
• Committed to delivering high‑quality customer service.
• Comfortable interacting with customers.
• Willing to work afternoons and early evenings, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
