Parcel Delivery Driver – Part‑time Fixed‑term (12 months)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Parcel Delivery Driver on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract in Brighton. You will work 30 hours per week, primarily in the afternoons and early evenings, delivering parcels across a multi‑drop route.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare your van and daily workload before each shift.
• Use route‑planning technology to optimise deliveries.
• Deliver parcels to customers on time, rain or shine.
• Interact with customers as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail.
• Follow the local rota, including required Saturday and Sunday work.

Required profile

• Upbeat, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Organised, punctual and proactive.
• Committed to excellent customer service.
• Willing to work afternoons/evenings and occasional weekends.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
