Parcel Delivery Driver – Part‑time (Gloucester)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Parcel Delivery Driver in Gloucester, working a permanent part‑time contract delivering parcels across a multi‑drop route. You will be on the road in the afternoons and early evenings, helping to keep customers’ days brighter, rain or shine.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver parcels to customers within the assigned area using route‑planning technology.
• Prepare your van and workload each morning, ensuring parcels are sorted correctly.
• Work a rota that includes weekdays and weekends, covering shifts between 14:00‑20:00 and 11:30‑18:00.
• Provide friendly, professional service as a brand ambassador for Royal Mail.

Required profile

• Upbeat, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Organised, punctual and proactive.
• Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• Willing to work afternoons, early evenings and weekends as required.

Required skills

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
