About the role

Join Royal Mail as a part‑time Parcel Delivery Driver in Gloucester, delivering parcels across the local area while providing excellent customer service. You’ll work a rotating schedule of afternoons and evenings, including weekends, using modern route‑planning tools to ensure timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver parcels to customers across the assigned area using a company van.
• Prepare the van and workload each morning, following safety and loading procedures.
• Utilise route‑planning technology to optimise delivery routes.
• Interact with customers professionally, representing Royal Mail positively.
• Adhere to the set working hours, including required Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Required profile

• Upbeat, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Organised, punctual and proactive.
• Committed to delivering great customer service.
• Comfortable interacting with customers as a brand ambassador.
• Willing to work afternoons, early evenings and weekends.
• Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
