Parking Civil Enforcement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Parking Civil Enforcement Officer to join our team in North London on a full‑time, temporary basis. You will help maintain parking compliance and support the local authority’s traffic management objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to monitor parking compliance.
• Issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) in line with current legislation.
• Provide advice and guidance to motorists and the public.
• Maintain accurate records and capture evidence using handheld devices.
• Report abandoned vehicles, faulty signage, or other parking‑related issues.
• Work according to local authority policies and handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
• Attention to detail when recording incidents and evidence.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using handheld electronic devices for data capture.
