Part Qualified Accountant

About the role

This is a part‑qualified accountant position with a family‑run, award‑winning practice in Bedford. You will work on a diverse client portfolio, gaining ownership of financial tasks while benefiting from structured training and study support.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end statutory accounts, VAT returns, bookkeeping and tax computations for a range of clients.
• Assist clients with ad‑hoc projects, providing support and guidance as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes and client service delivery.
• Ensure chargeability, recovery and profitability targets are met.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified and actively studying ACA, ACCA or AAT Level 4, or already AAT Level 4 qualified.
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice.
• High attention to detail and ability to multi‑task.
