Part Time Clinical Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Part‑Time Clinical Assistant to support the busy clinics at our Horley site. The role is Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering a rate of £15.38 per hour and the possibility of permanent employment after the temporary period.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for visitors, both face‑to‑face and by phone.
• Coordinate and confirm appointments for consultants and nurses, ensuring smooth flow of the clinic schedule.
• Welcome patients, introduce them to the appropriate clinician, and manage patient flow.
• Handle medical notes, upload them to the electronic system and distribute reports to relevant parties.
• Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry and maintaining clinic records.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a medical or healthcare administrative role.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with medical record or clinic management software.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite.
