Part-Time Dentist

About the role

Our client is seeking a Part‑Time Associate Dentist to join a mixed private/NHS practice in Hastings. The role offers flexible days, full clinical freedom and the opportunity to work with a high volume of private treatments such as Invisalign, whitening, implants and smile design.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mixed NHS and private dental care, managing an existing patient list.
• Perform examinations, diagnostics, routine cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, implants and cosmetic procedures.
• Take medical histories, maintain accurate patient records and refer patients for surgery or orthodontic work when required.
• Utilise CBCT 3D imaging, digital X‑rays, rotary endodontics, microscopes and iTero scanner for Invisalign and restorative work.
• Manage and train a team of hygienists, dental assistants and administrative staff.
• Stay up‑to‑date with best practices, new technologies and innovations in dentistry.

Required profile

• Qualified dentist (BDS, BChD or LDS preferred) with current GDC registration.
• Experience in short‑term orthodontics, implants, cosmetic dentistry and endodontics.
• Proficiency with Pearl practice‑management software.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, patient, flexible and methodical.
