Part-Time Finance Manager

About the role

Headstar is seeking a Finance Manager to lead its finance function on a part‑time basis. Based in Leeds city centre, the role offers genuine flexibility to fit around personal commitments while contributing to a supportive, people‑first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day‑to‑day finance function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Produce monthly management accounts for senior leadership.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Oversee cash‑flow management and reporting.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight.
• Review and improve financial processes where needed.
• Assist the wider leadership team with strategic financial analysis.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Finance Manager or in a comparable senior accounting role.
• Strong management accounting background.
• Ability to work independently and build relationships across the business.
• Practical, hands‑on approach to problem solving.
