Part-Time General Assistant - Gym

About the role

JD Gyms is an award-winning budget gym chain expanding across the UK, investing heavily in the fit-out of its gyms. It is looking for a part-time General Assistant in Bristol who takes pride in keeping things clean and helps create a positive environment for members and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the Health and Safety Employee Policy and the Company Procedures Handbook.
• Maintain JD Gyms brand standards across the club.
• Carry out daily, weekly and monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report defects so the building and equipment stay safe to use.
• Keep the gym clean and tidy.
• Keep a professional appearance and uniform in line with company expectations.
• Deliver friendly, professional member service.
• Support learning and development, including training aimed at consistent standards.
• Carry out other reasonable duties.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Commitment to excellent member service.
• Experience in a customer-facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work as part of a team while managing your own responsibilities.
