Part Time Hebrew into English Translator

About the role

TransPerfect is seeking a native‑level Hebrew‑to‑English translator to join its linguistic team on a part‑time permanent basis. You will work on a variety of document types, ensuring high‑quality translations that meet client expectations and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and uphold TransPerfect’s quality standards for all translation projects.
• Complete required trainings, including subject‑matter certification, tech‑tool usage, and quality‑assurance processes.
• Navigate company resources such as Confluence, Launchpad, and other technology platforms.
• Perform linguistic tasks according to project specifications, using reference materials, translation memory, glossaries and style guides.
• Follow internal and client processes, working under the supervision of a Team Lead or senior team member.
• Achieve quality and efficiency targets set by the manager and handle additional tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Native‑level English with excellent written and verbal Hebrew communication skills.
• Cultural knowledge of both Hebrew and English contexts.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent translation certification.
• Successful completion of TransPerfect’s internal linguistic testing.
• Prior experience with translation, proofreading or copywriting, especially in life‑science content, is a plus.
