Part time Humanities Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a passionate part‑time Humanities Teacher to deliver History and Geography lessons at a mainstream secondary school that supports neurodivergent learners. The role starts in September 2026 and runs two days per week (Monday and Wednesday) in South East London.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in History and Geography across Key Stages 2‑4, with a focus on KS3.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of neurodivergent students aged 7‑19.
• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
• Contribute to curriculum development and keep up to date with national changes.
• Collaborate with colleagues and manage teaching assistants effectively.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level, with strong subject knowledge in History, Geography and/or RE.
• Confidence delivering across KS2, KS3 and KS4, especially KS3.
• Commitment to inclusive education and strong behaviour management.
