Part-Time KS2 Teacher (Mon & Tue)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Key Stage 2 teacher to work two days a week (Monday and Tuesday) in a supportive primary school in Longsight, starting September 2026. The position is fixed‑term for at least one academic year.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons to a KS2 class in line with the national curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare and assess daily lessons, ensuring clear objectives and feedback.
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports all pupils.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to maintain continuity across the week.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress and attainment.

Required profile

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching at Key Stage 2.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Reliable, team‑oriented and committed to raising standards for every learner.
