About the role
The specialist law firm in the City of London is looking for a part-time Legal Cashier on a nine-month fixed-term contract. You will work 21 hours per week, primarily from home with one day a week in the office, supporting the finance manager with day-to-day cash handling and accounting tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Collate purchase invoices, obtain approvals, process payments and post entries in Tikit.
- Gather expense claims, secure approvals, process payments and post in Tikit.
- Post direct debit and standing order payments from bank statements.
- Collate fee notes and post them in Tikit.
- Raise credit notes for reductions or errors.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years experience in a finance team within a law firm.
- Good knowledge of the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules.
- Strong numeracy, attention to detail and first‑rate data‑entry ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
Required skills
- Tikit accounting software.
