About the role
We are seeking a part‑time Nursery Nurse / Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school nursery in County Durham. You will support children aged 3‑4 years, working mornings on an ongoing basis.
Key responsibilities
- Work with small groups and provide one‑to‑one support as needed.
- Record evidence of children meeting developmental targets.
- Use initiative to adapt activity plans.
- Assist with feeding and personal care.
Required profile
- Relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Two educational‑based references.
- Experience confident in managing small groups of children.
- Strong numeracy and literacy knowledge.
- Good behaviour management skills.
