About the role
We are seeking a qualified Optometrist to join a well‑regarded independent practice in Lightwater on a part‑time basis. The role offers a balanced two‑week rota, modern diagnostic equipment and a supportive team focused on patient‑centred care.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations with 45‑minute testing slots.
- Utilise modern diagnostic tools, including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), to assess patients.
- Maintain high clinical standards and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Provide professional advice and recommendations based on examination results.
- Collaborate with the practice team to support a community‑focused service.
Required profile
- Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
- Professional, approachable and patient‑focused.
- Confident communicator who builds rapport easily.
- Keen to work in an independent setting where care comes first.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using OCT equipment.
