Part-Time Passenger Assistant – Transport Support

About the role

This part‑time position supports the safe transport of special‑needs children, vulnerable adults and other passengers to schools, colleges and day‑care centres in the Bristol area. You will work flexible, term‑time hours and join a friendly team dedicated to community service.

Key responsibilities

• Transport SEN or vulnerable passengers to and from educational or care facilities.
• Assist the driver in various company‑supplied vehicles, including cars, 8‑seat people carriers and wheelchair‑accessible vans.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable and engaging environment for passengers during journeys.
• Build positive relationships with passengers, carers, parents and staff at destination sites.

Required profile

• Enhanced DBS check clearance (children and vulnerable adults).
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• First‑Aid training and willingness to undertake advanced medical training.
• Patient, empathetic and able to keep passengers occupied.

Required skills

• First‑Aid certification.
• Enhanced DBS eligibility.
