Part Time Payroll & Bookkeeping Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Payroll & Bookkeeping Administrator to join our friendly finance team in Woking. The role combines accurate payroll processing with day‑to‑day bookkeeping, supporting employees and contributing to smooth financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payroll runs using Sage Payroll.
• Maintain ledgers, perform reconciliations and support month‑end closing.
• Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional manner.
• Assist with invoicing, VAT returns and other general finance administration.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, fostering a positive and supportive environment.

Required profile

• Confident user of Sage Payroll and Sage Accounts (essential).
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of PAYE, National Insurance, pensions and statutory payments.
• Experience with bookkeeping tasks such as reconciliations, journals and ledger maintenance.
• Friendly, approachable attitude and a team‑oriented mindset.
