Part time Primary Music Teacher (Catholic School)

About the role

This is a part‑time position (1‑2 days per week) as a Primary Music Teacher in a Catholic primary school in Lewisham, starting September 2026. You will deliver engaging, curriculum‑based music lessons for KS1 and KS2 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, supporting the school’s ambition to reach an Outstanding Ofsted rating.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver music lessons that meet the national curriculum for KS1 and KS2.
• Incorporate Catholic music traditions such as The Crowning of Mary into lessons.
• Use the school’s well‑resourced music room and classroom support (TA or teacher present).
• Foster an inclusive, fun, and challenging learning environment for all pupils.
• Collaborate with staff to develop the school’s overall music provision.
