About the role

We are partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Nelson, Lancashire to recruit a dedicated part‑time primary teacher for three days a week starting September 2026. The role offers a flexible schedule within a supportive school community that values high expectations, positive relationships and inclusion.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons for pupils across a range of abilities.
• Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour, supporting pupils with diverse needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• Promote confidence, independence and a love of learning.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a supportive teaching team.

Required profile

• Recent primary teaching experience.
• Legal right to work in the UK and willingness to attend a registration interview.
• Ability to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide professional references.
