About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our Highgate early years setting on a part‑time, permanent basis. You will help create a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and evaluate rich, stimulating EYFS activities.
- Observe, assess and document each child’s learning and progress.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers.
- Promote children’s independence, confidence and wellbeing.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and high‑quality early years environment.
Required profile
- NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding standards.
- Prior experience as a Nursery Nurse or Early Years Practitioner.
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection standards.
- Ability to observe, assess and document children’s learning.
What we offer
- Salary £24,000‑£26,000 per year.
- Part‑time permanent contract (8‑hour shifts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).
