About the role
We are looking for a reliable Part‑Time Supply Support Assistant to join our school in Poulton‑le‑Fylde from early September 2026. This temporary, school‑based position supports teachers and pupils during the morning session, helping to create a positive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist pupils with learning tasks and development activities within the classroom.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver planned activities and learning objectives.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere.
- Provide individual or small‑group support where needed.
- Help prepare and organise classroom resources and materials.
Required profile
- Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, caring nature, and adaptability.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
