Part-Time Supply Teacher (Secondary KS3‑KS4)

About the role
Academics is seeking qualified teachers who want flexible, part‑time work supporting secondary schools in Crewe, Stoke‑on‑Trent and surrounding areas. Positions start in September and can be arranged for 1‑4 days per week, fitting around other commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils.
- Provide reliable classroom cover across a range of local schools.
- Adapt working days to personal availability, from short‑term to longer placements.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in any subject.
- Recent experience teaching KS3‑KS4.
- Confident, adaptable classroom practice.
- Strong behaviour management and ability to engage mixed‑ability groups.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
