Part-Time Trademark Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Part‑Time Trademark Support Specialist to join the Intellectual Property department of a leading US law firm’s UK office. The role works closely with IP partners, offering hybrid working (2‑3 days onsite, up to 2 days remote) and standard office hours of 9:30‑18:00.

Key responsibilities

• Review watch notices, flag concerns and report to clients.
• Manage trademark and design deadlines, moving and clearing completed items.
• Update dockets, add diary entries and set monthly/fortnightly reminders.
• Communicate with clients on deadlines, obtain instructions and liaise with foreign agents for fee quotes and documents.
• Prepare filing sheets, fee quotes and class selections for trademarks and designs.
• Arrange searches via SAEGIS or Corsearch and report results.
• Produce trademark schedules and IP trackers, notifying clients of updates.
• Prepare and file trademark applications, renewals and recordals.

Required profile

• Proven experience within the trademark team of a recognised law firm.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong time‑management and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator capable of influencing at all levels.
• Tech‑savvy with proficiency in MS Office.
