Part-time Year 1 Teacher – Bolton

About the role

This part‑time position offers an experienced Key Stage 1 teacher the chance to join a welcoming primary school in Bolton from September 2026. Working three days a week, you will deliver engaging lessons to Year 1 pupils while enjoying a strong work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, curriculum‑aligned lessons for Year 1 students.
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and parents to support pupil outcomes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 1.
• Strong classroom management and thorough knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Commitment to raising standards and supporting each child’s learning journey.
