About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Southall on a part‑time basis from September 2026. The role combines two days of shared Year 3 class teaching with two days of high‑quality PPA cover across the school.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 3 pupils in line with the National Curriculum.
- Collaborate with a teaching partner to ensure continuity of planning, assessment and pupil progress.
- Provide PPA cover across various year groups, maintaining behaviour management and learning continuity.
- Create an inclusive classroom where every pupil feels supported and challenged.
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to individual needs.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils.
