Part-Time Year 3 Teacher (Mon/Tue) – West London

About the role

We are looking for a qualified primary teacher to join a Church of England school in West London on a part‑time basis. The position covers Year 3 classes on Mondays and Tuesdays for the full academic year starting September.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the Year 3 curriculum in line with national standards.
• Share teaching responsibilities with a job‑share partner and collaborate with the parallel class teacher.
• Assess pupil progress, record outcomes and provide feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and contribute to the school’s positive behaviour culture.
• Utilise allocated planning, preparation and assessment (PPA) time effectively.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience teaching primary pupils.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, especially with a job‑share colleague.
• Strong communication skills and flexibility to adapt to a fixed schedule.
• Commitment to the full academic year without need for early‑career teacher (ECT) support.

• Classroom management and pupil assessment.
• Effective use of PPA time.
