Partner – Pensions Solicitor (10+ PQE)

About the role

Join a top‑50 UK law firm as a Partner in its nationally recognised Pensions practice. You will advise employers, trustees and individuals on a wide range of pension matters, working across both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on governance, regulatory compliance and scheme documentation for DB and DC pensions.
• Support corporate transactions, business restructurings and public sector pension arrangements.
• Drive business development, networking and long‑term client relationship building.
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the national Pensions practice.

Required profile

• 10+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in complex pensions work.
• Strong reputation and established professional network within the pensions market.
• Proven client following and ability to generate new business.
• Commercial acumen, leadership and a collaborative approach.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of UK pensions law (both DB and DC).
• Expertise in governance, regulatory compliance and scheme documentation.
• Experience with corporate transactions and public sector pension arrangements.
