Parts Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Parts Administrator to manage purchasing, stock control and store operations at our Reading branch. You will ensure engineers have the right tools, parts and equipment at the right time, supporting the delivery of high‑quality refrigeration and air‑conditioning services.

Key responsibilities

• Source, order and receive parts, tools, PPE and refrigerants.
• Allocate received items to the correct jobs and ensure timely delivery to sites or internal locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, keep the store tidy and conduct regular stock checks.
• Process invoices, warranties and update procurement databases.
• Manage branch fleet administration, van inspections and basic health‑and‑safety checks.

Required profile

• Experience in purchasing or inventory administration within a supplier‑focused environment (electrical, plumbing, builders’ merchants, etc.).
• Comfortable performing manual handling tasks and using a computer for administrative work.
• Valid UK driving licence for occasional site deliveries.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check due to customer safeguarding requirements.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Database handling and basic computer literacy.
