Parts Advisor – Customer Service & Sales

About the role

The Parts Advisor will manage incoming and outgoing parts enquiries, drive sales on the trade counter and support the branch in meeting its KPI targets. You will act as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of service while maintaining accurate stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone enquiries professionally and promote part sales.
• Liaise with suppliers to purchase parts at the best price and keep stock levels optimal.
• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to achieve monthly sales, margin and contribution targets.
• Process stock cleanses, internal transfers and ensure timely deliveries with van drivers.
• Provide excellent customer service to local and national clients, building a repeat‑business base.
• Handle cash and payment systems in line with company policies and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Support the parts team in meeting over‑the‑counter sales and delivery objectives.

Required profile

• Proven knowledge of parts and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Strong telephone etiquette and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work accurately with cash and payment systems.
• Commitment to health and safety standards and company core values.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office.
