Parts & Retail Salesperson

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Parts & Retail Salesperson to join our busy showroom in Benington. The role combines retail sales, customer service and stock management, supporting both trade and retail customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide face‑to‑face, telephone and email support to trade and retail customers, advising on agricultural parts, hardware, clothing and ground‑care machinery.
• Process customer orders accurately, manage stock levels and ensure product availability.
• Assist workshop technicians by identifying and supplying required parts.
• Receive, check and distribute incoming goods, maintain accurate stock records and keep the showroom tidy and well presented.
• Handle cash, card and cheque payments and work towards sales targets.
• Support promotional activities, seasonal campaigns and occasional Saturday rota.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused with a passion for sales and a friendly, enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and build strong relationships with customers.
• Flexibility to work weekends as part of a Saturday rota.

Required skills

• Cash handling and payment processing.
• Basic computer literacy for stock and order management.
