Part‑time Accounts Administrator (Temporary)

About the role

This temporary position supports the accounts team of a specialist construction company during a busy period. It is part‑time (20‑28 hours per week) and based at the office near Grays, Essex. The role focuses on processing proof‑of‑delivery documentation and ensuring accurate matching with purchase orders.

Key responsibilities

• Input proof‑of‑supplier delivery details into the accounting system.
• Match delivery documentation against purchase orders.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between deliveries and orders.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider accounts team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance data‑entry role.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• Well‑organised and capable of handling a high volume of transactions.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £14.36.
