Part‑time Bookkeeper – 3 days a week

About the role
We are seeking a reliable part‑time Bookkeeper to join a growing finance team, working three days each week. The role involves handling day‑to‑day bookkeeping for a variety of clients using modern cloud‑based tools.
Key responsibilities
- Process invoices, payments and expenses in Xero and Dext.
- Maintain purchase and sales ledgers and reconcile bank and credit‑card statements.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC regulations.
- Respond to client queries and build lasting relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a seamless, high‑quality service.
Required profile
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and VAT.
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organised.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage workload within a part‑time schedule.
