Part‑time Business Studies Teacher – Autumn Term

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Business Studies Teacher to deliver OCR GCSE Business Studies lessons on a half‑day basis for Year 11 pupils during the Autumn term. The position is temporary with the prospect of a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging OCR Business Studies lessons tailored to Year 11 exam requirements.
- Assess, track and support student progress to ensure readiness for GCSE examinations.
- Uphold the academy’s high standards of behaviour and academic engagement.
- Collaborate with the head of department to ensure a smooth term of learning.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
- Proven experience teaching GCSE Business Studies, preferably the OCR specification.
- Availability for consistent half‑day shifts throughout the Autumn term.
- Proactive and adaptable professional able to build rapport quickly.
