Part‑time Campus Security Officer – Walthamstow

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Campus Security Officer to protect a vibrant college community in Walthamstow, East London. The role runs Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑5:45 pm, and you will join a team of five experienced officers dedicated to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, contractors and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Meet and greet students, staff, contractors and visitors.
• Gather intelligence to prevent and diffuse potential incidents.
• Conduct body and bag searches.
• Manage crowd and access control.
• Patrol the site and monitor the car park.
• Intervene in incidents, write reports and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Valid Door Supervisor Licence.
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for working with young people.
• Previous security experience.
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
