Part‑time Caretaker – Runcorn (7.4 hrs/week)

About the role
Halton Housing is seeking a reliable part‑time Caretaker to join its team in Runcorn. Working 7.4 hours each week across Friday and Saturday, you will help keep communal areas safe, clean and welcoming for residents and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of communal indoor and outdoor spaces.
- Perform waste management, sanitisation and routine health‑and‑safety checks.
- Support contractors, residents and community activities within the scheme.
- Monitor and report maintenance, security and wellbeing concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service, promoting dignity and respect at all times.
Required profile
- Previous experience in cleaning, caretaking or a similar role.
- Ability to follow procedures accurately and consistently.
- Good communication and customer‑service skills.
- Awareness of health‑and‑safety practices.
- Flexibility to work across six days and cover colleagues when needed.
Required skills
- Basic IT proficiency, preferably Microsoft Teams.
