Part‑time Cleaner – Edinburgh (Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, hard‑working cleaner to join a leading facilities‑management client in Edinburgh on a temporary, part‑time basis. The role runs from early August to the end of the month, Monday to Friday, with two‑hour shifts each day.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive cleaning tasks throughout the building to the required standard.
• Damp‑dust furniture, fixtures and fittings.
• Mop and maintain floor surfaces.
• Vacuum designated areas.
• Clean sanitary facilities and public toilets.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including internal windows and partitions.
• Segregate, remove and dispose of waste responsibly.

Required profile

• Valid DBS/PVG clearance.
• Previous cleaning experience in the UK.
• Ability to work independently and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Commitment to the temporary schedule (Mon‑Fri, 3:30‑5:30 pm).

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £12.71 + holiday pay (or £14.24 without holiday pay).
