Part‑time Commis Chef – Leeds

About the role

Marston's is looking for a motivated Commis Chef to join its Leeds pub kitchen on a part‑time basis. You will help bring the pub menu to life, learning new prep techniques and supporting the kitchen team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and cooking according to menu specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
• Support senior chefs by stocking stations, preparing ingredients and managing waste.
• Ensure dishes are delivered hot and to spec for every service.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar kitchen role or a willingness to learn on the job.
• Ability to work well within a team and follow fast‑paced service demands.
• Passion for delivering high‑quality food consistently.

Required skills

• Basic food preparation techniques.
• Understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene procedures.
