Part‑time Cook – 15 hrs per week (Days)

About the role

Join the caring team at Lyndon Croft Care Home in Solihull as a part‑time Cook. You will work day shifts, preparing nutritious meals for 52 residents with diverse health and dietary needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks and beverages in line with residents' dietary requirements.
• Conduct quality checks on prepared food and storage conditions.
• Plan menus that reflect residents' preferences and nutritional guidelines.
• Assist with food service to ensure a dignified dining experience.
• Maintain accurate stock records, order supplies and uphold food safety regulations.
• Keep the kitchen clean and support deep‑cleaning tasks.

Required profile

• Patient, understanding and respectful attitude towards residents.
• Experience as a Cook, preferably with a Food Hygiene or Catering qualification (training can be provided).
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, safe meals.
