Part‑time Credit Controller – 20 hrs/week

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team on a part‑time basis. The role is based on‑site in Burnley and offers a clear pathway to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Chase overdue payments via phone and email.
• Build positive relationships with customers to encourage timely payment.
• Maintain your own ledger and keep accurate notes.
• Send statements, payment reminders and related documents.
• Resolve payment queries by liaising with customers and internal teams.
• Agree payment timescales and follow up professionally.
• Escalate problem accounts when necessary.
• Support the wider finance team with credit control and accounts administration.

Required profile

• Previous credit control experience (essential).
• Organised, accurate and able to manage own workload.
• Confident communicator with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Available to start on Monday 8 June.
