Part‑time Customer Service Assistant at Ash Manor Sports Centre

About the role

As a Customer Service Assistant you will be the first point of contact for visitors to Ash Manor Sports Centre, delivering a warm welcome and helping them make the most of the facilities. This part‑time position offers on‑the‑job training and the chance to develop a career within Freedom Leisure.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, providing friendly and professional service.
• Answer enquiries about the centre’s facilities, programmes and opening times.
• Promote and sell memberships and other leisure products.
• Support the membership retention process by following up with new members.
• Maintain a tidy and safe reception area.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a welcoming environment for all users.

Required profile

• Previous experience serving customers face‑to‑face.
• Ability to promote services and persuade customers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to build quick relationships.
• High level of professionalism, enthusiasm and motivation.
• Well‑organised with good attention to detail.
