Part‑Time Duty Manager – Retail Leadership

About the role

Heron Foods is looking for a motivated Part‑Time Duty Manager to lead a store in Blacon, Cheshire. You will be the key point of contact on the floor, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service and a well‑stocked, tidy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support the store team to achieve sales and service targets.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness and stock availability.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage store opening and closing procedures as a keyholder.
• Drive profitability by monitoring performance and implementing efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a retail supervisory or managerial role (e.g., Retail Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Shift Manager).
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Energetic, proactive approach to a fast‑paced retail environment.
