Part‑Time Duty Manager – Stafford Leisure Centre

About the role

Freedom Leisure is seeking a motivated Part‑Time Duty Manager to join the team at the Stafford Leisure Centre. You will help deliver a wide range of leisure services, ensuring every visitor enjoys a safe, welcoming and high‑quality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate a team of operational staff on a rotating schedule.
• Oversee day‑to‑day duty management of the centre, maintaining high standards of service and safety.
• Contribute to the centre’s business performance, including budgeting and financial monitoring.
• Organise events, activities and programmes that enhance community engagement.
• Respond quickly to customer enquiries, resolve issues and ensure a positive visitor experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in duty management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong problem‑solving and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to work flexibly, make autonomous decisions and think on your feet.
• Passion for the leisure industry and commitment to continuous professional development.
• Current NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) certification.

Required skills

• In‑date NPLQ qualification.
