Part‑time Events Coordinator – Cambridge

About the role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Events Coordinator to join a respected professional services firm in Cambridge on a part‑time basis. You will own the full lifecycle of corporate events, from initial concept through to successful delivery, supporting the marketing team’s aim to strengthen client relationships and raise the business profile.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver a varied programme of corporate events.
• Liaise with venues, suppliers and internal stakeholders to secure bookings and manage logistics.
• Handle event registrations, attendee communications and on‑site support.
• Conduct venue visits and ensure smooth execution on the day of the event.
• Work closely with the wider marketing team to align events with broader campaigns.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor event budgets.
• Track event performance and suggest improvements for future events.

Required profile

• Approximately 18‑24 months of experience coordinating events.
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work flexibly across five shorter days, with occasional additional hours around events.
• Willingness to travel to venues across East Anglia.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
