Part‑Time Female Support Worker (Driver Required)

About the role

This part‑time position supports a young woman in her early 40s who has an acquired brain injury. The role is long‑term, based in Forest Row, and offers the possibility to increase hours as the support package evolves.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day living tasks and food preparation.
• Use iPhone and Apple technology (apps, accessibility features) to support communication and routine management.
• Organise appointments, routines and community outings (driving required).
• Provide emotional reassurance, anxiety management and encouragement toward independence.
• Follow a structured rehabilitation plan in collaboration with a Multi‑Disciplinary Team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a support or care role.
• Full UK driving licence, own car and business‑use insurance.
• Calm, compassionate and patient approach.
• Ability to support someone with high levels of anxiety.
• Good communication skills and a sense of humour.
• Flexibility to work a varied, pre‑agreed shift pattern.

Required skills

• Proficiency with iPhone and Apple technology (apps, accessibility features).
