Part‑Time Financial Services Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Financial Services Administrator to join our friendly professional team on a permanent part‑time basis. Working four days a week, you will support directors, advisers and financial advisers to keep the business running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Process, monitor and record client transactions and documentation with high accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Produce regular reports on transactional data and coordinate client annual review meetings.
• Maintain detailed client records in the back‑office system and handle payment processing, bank reconciliation and commission calculations.
• Liaise daily with investment platforms, powers of attorney, accountants and other professionals.
• Organise small office events, perform ad‑hoc duties and support the team during staff shortages.
• Undertake continuing professional development to meet regulatory and personal growth requirements.

Required profile

• Previous administration experience in financial planning or a related financial services role.
• GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English.
• Professional, approachable demeanor with strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent telephone manner and clear written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing workload under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Familiarity with IRESS XPlan (preferred).
