Part‑Time Housing Officer – West Berkshire

About the role

SNG (Sovereign Network Group) is seeking a part‑time Housing Officer to support its West Berkshire portfolio. Working 22.5 hours per week from the Greenham office, you will split your time between the office, home and visits to customers across the community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tenancy, leasehold and neighbourhood management services for the assigned area.
• Act as the primary point of contact for residents, handling enquiries and resolving issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, community groups and partner agencies.
• Use data insights to improve service delivery and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Support neighbourhood improvement initiatives and incorporate resident feedback into service design.
• Maintain accurate customer records and manage data responsibly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in tenancy, lease or neighbourhood management.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Collaborative approach with the capacity to work across internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of landlord services and relevant regulations.
• Customer‑first mindset with a record of achieving positive outcomes.
